The magnificent Areng Valley in Cambodia is threatened by an uneconomic Chinese dam. If it goes ahead it will wipe out endangered Siamese crocodiles and allow loggers and poachers into the 'biodiversity jewel' that is the Central Cardomom Protected Forest.
Please ask the Cambodian Prime Minister to save the Areng Valley before it is too late.

We need your support to fund the campaign if we are to win, anything you can spare will help.
Our best chance to stop the flooding of the Areng Valley (with a dam which would turn lush tropical rainforest into a malaria-ridden swamp) is to support two local grassroots volunteer groups in their campaign to educate the local people in the affected area.
The Rainforest Information Centre (who have been at the forefront of rainforest conservation worldwide for over 30 years) are hoping to raise $5,000 to make this possible. Australian$ donations are tax deductible.
